There are 7 Collection Chests to be found in the North Hogwarts Region, part of The Highlands in Hogwarts Legacy. The Collection Chests may contain rewards such as Traits, Conjuration recipes for the Room of Requirement, or Wand Handles for your character. We’ll show you where to find each of them on this page.

Collection Chest #1 - Northwest of Forbidden Forest Floo Flames¶

Reward: Trait

The first Collection Chest we’ll cover in the North Hogwarts Region can be found at the Small Bandit Camp located just northwest of the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame, as shown in the screenshot below. You’ll encounter a number of Dark Wizards and Witches here, so you need to take them out first before you can safely loot the Collection Chest. You’ll find it inside a tent in the southwest part of the camp.

Collection Chest #2 - Northwest of East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flames¶

Reward: Trait

You’ll find this Collection Chest at a Small Bandit Camp located northwest of the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flames, between a Spider Lair and a Merlin Trial, as shown in the screenshot below. As with the other bandit camp, there are Dark Wizards and Witches to contend with here, but they’re slightly more powerful, so be on your guard. The Collection Chest can be found inside a tent in the northern part of the camp.

Collection Chest #3 - West of Jackdaw’s Tomb¶

Reward: Trait

This Collection Chest can be found inside a tent at the bandit camp located west of Jackdaw’s Tomb, in the northern part of the North Hogwarts Region. There are no enemies in this camp, only some dead goblins, but there are some Dark Wizards and Witches above you which can be seen when you use the Revelio spell here.

Collection Chest #4 - Bandit Camp Castle 1¶

Reward: Trait

This is the first of two Collection Chests which can be found at the Bandit Camp Castle near Korrow Ruins, which is located in the westernmost point of the North Hogwarts Region. The first one can be found just inside the entrance to your left, as shown in the screenshot below.

Collection Chest #5 - Bandit Camp Castle 2¶

Reward: Trait

The second Collection Chest that you can find in the Bandit Camp Castle near Korrow Ruins is located in the highest room of the castle on its western side, near some boxes as shown in the screenshot below. You can avoid fighting through the castle if you don’t want to by flying up to the room using your broom.

Collection Chest #6 - Korrow Ruins¶

You’ll find the entrance to Korrow Ruins from inside the Bandit Camp Castle. Look for a gate at the bottom of some stairs to enter.

Reward: Conjuration

The Collection Chest in Korrow Ruins is a bit more difficult to reach compared with the previous 5. You need to fight your way through the ruins where you’ll encounter numerous goblins, and a goblin boss at the end named Pergit. This isn’t a particularly difficult boss fight, but you’ll be fighting Pergit alongside a number of other goblins, so be sure to make the most of your crowd control spells.

Once you’ve defeated all the goblins in the throne room, head up the stairs to the west and follow the balcony southwards until you reach an opening to your right. The way appears to be blocked here, but all you need to do is walk towards the wall and it will open, revealing the room behind where the Collection Chest is located, shown in the screenshot below.

Collection Chest #7 - The Collector’s Cave (The Helm Of Urtkot Quest)¶

Reward: Conjuration

The final Collection Chest can be found in The Collector’s Cave, the entrance to which can be found directly west of Hogsmeade, as shown in the screenshot below. It’s important to note that you can only enter this cave during The Helm Of Urtkot main quest. You’ll need to make good use of the Lumos spell to see properly throughout most of this cave.

Follow the tunnels down until you reach a large circular room, then keep going north as you turn west through another room. Follow this path to another circular room with a pedestal at its center, then go through the doorway to the north and turn left. You’ll soon reach a room with a hole in the center of the floor. Look north and use Accio to open the doors here, then move the platform chest in front of you using the same spell to the right. You can now jump on top of the chest and climb up the ledge to find the Collection Chest here.
